12,000 jobs are at risk as homeware store Wilko has gone into administration.
It has now been confirmed that Wilko has gone into administration. The news comes after Sky News revealed the retail chain was only hours away from insolvency.
Last Thursday, the UK homeware company filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators at the High Court.
Wilko employs staff across around 400 stores in the UK, with two in Milton Keynes. One can be found at Kingston retail park, with another in Bletchley.
The store suspended home deliveries on Wednesday as it raced to avoid collapse.
