Teenage girl hit by car in Milton Keynes as police appeal for witnesses

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Milton Keynes.

    At around 8.15am on Thursday (8/2), the victim, a teenage girl, was walking past the entrance to Glastonbury Thorn School on Pigott Drive, near the junction with Fortescue Drive, when a grey vehicle hit her before leaving without passing any details.

    The victim was taken to hospital for minor injuries. She has since been discharged.

    The vehicle is described as possibly a Kia 4x4.

    Investigating officer PC James Ferriman, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please come forward.

    “Also, if you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dash-cam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or a video doorbell, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us and get in touch if you have.
