BREAKING - Appeal for witnesses after a pedestrian is hit on M1 near Milton Keynes this morning

    Northamptonshire Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision on the southbound carriageway of the M1.

    At about 5.10am this morning (Wednesday, August 25), the Force Control Room received a report that a pedestrian had been struck between junction 16 and 15a (Northampton), on the southbound carriageway.

    An investigation into the incident has been launched and as a matter of urgency, officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a pedestrian walking along the carriageway earlier today.

    Officers are also appealing to anyone who was travelling on this stretch of the M1 to check their dash-cam footage to see whether they have unknowingly captured the incident.
