The Radcliffe School in Wolverton has confirmed a case of COVID-19 meaning that Sixth Form pupils must now self-isolate.
In a letter to parents, as seen by MKFM, the school says that a Sixth Form student tested positive for coronavirus on Friday (2/10).
The Radcliffe School has been following advice issued by the Department for Education and has since closed the Sixth Form to all students for two weeks.
These affected pupils must now self-isolate for two weeks as a precaution, with the letter adding that the decision has been taken "to safeguard the school's population and wider community".
Because the school has taken this approach, it means that the remainder of the school can stay open for Years 7 to 11.
In other news, it is expected that a special needs school in Netherfield will be reopening today (5/10) following a period of self-isolation. Two staff members at The Redway School tested positive for COVID-19 and Milton Keynes Council closed the school as a precaution.
MKFM can confirm the following educational institutions have had cases of coronavirus:
Walton High (Brooklands Campus)
Stantonbury International School
