Sadly, a person has been hit by a train between Watford Junction and MK Central this morning.
Update 15:13pm: There are still delays at Milton Keynes Central as a result of the earlier incident. Delays are expected until at least 16:30pm.
Update 11:34am: A spokesperson for London Euston says services are recovering from this disruption but there may still be delays while they get back to normal.
Update 10:30am: National Rail reports that lines have been reopened.
An Avanti Westcoast spokesperson says: 'Following the emergency services dealing with a situation between Watford Junction and Milton Keynes Central, all lines are now open. Residual delays are expected so please check your journey.'

Update 09:40am: Due to a person being hit by a train between Watford Junction and Milton Keynes Central all lines are blocked.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 12:00, Avanti WestCoast say.

London Northwestern Railway say some lines will be blocked between Leighton Buzzard and Bletchley.
