There is a full road closure in place on the A422 between the A509 Chicheley roundabout and its junction with the A428 at Bromham between 5 - 18th August. The road will reopen on the 19th August.
The closure will be in place for 24 hours a day to enable the significant highway improvements take to place.
The works will include essential:

Structural remedial works and waterproofing to Swans River Bridge, which requires closure across the whole carriageway.

Highway resurfacing – some of which will be carried out and funded by Bedford Borough Council
