Various supermarkets in the local area have recently announced that they will be closing early to allow their staff to watch the historic England vs Italy showdown.
Across the country, many supermarket workers will be happy to know that they will be finishing early on Sunday evening (11/07) as many stores will be closing by 7:45pm ahead of the EURO 2020 final.
It is estimated that around 1600 Tesco Express stores alongside 2,034 Co-op stores will be closing earlier than their 10/11pm usual closing time.
A social media post from the official Co-op Twitter account read: "It's not just football coming home, our colleagues are going home! All our stores in England are closing at 7:45pm on Sunday #ITSCOMINGHOME."
In addition to this, Lidl has revealed that their stores will be opening an hour later on Monday - but only if England prove successful.
Any affected stores will be clearly signposted to inform customers that they have closed earlier than usual.

The game in question will see England take on Italy, in a match sure to go down in history. The match will be the biggest game for England’s national team since their win at the 1966 World Cup - over 55 years ago.
If victorious on Sunday, it will also mark the first European Championship to be won by the Three Lions in the competition's history, making another landmark for Gareth Southgate's team.
