
There were 6 new coronavirus cases and no virus-linked deaths announced in Milton Keynes yesterday, according to the latest data.
The latest update brings the total number of people tested positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic to 20,028 - of which 84 were in the past seven days.
According to the Government website, the 7-day case rate, or infection rate, has decreased from 41.9 cases per 100,000 people yesterday to 37.9 cases per 100,000 people today.
Today's national average was 28.1 cases per 100,000 people.
Nationally, there was an additional 1,882 people tested positive yesterday, with 10 deaths within 28 days of a positive test.
None of these deaths took place in Milton Keynes yesterday, meaning the city's total COVID-linked death toll still stands at 463 since the start of the pandemic.
