There were 446 new coronavirus cases reported in Milton Keynes today, according to the latest Public Health England data.
It brings the total number of people tested positive since the start of the pandemic to 9,441 - of which 2,380 have been in the past seven days.
The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes has now risen from 865.8 cases per 100,000 people yesterday to 869.2 cases per 100,000 people today.
For comparison, the case rate in Bedford is 637.1, 517.2 in Central Bedfordshire, 554.3 in Luton and 381.5 for the UK as a whole.
Nationally, there were an additional 53,135 people tested positive and an additional 414 people sadly died within 28 days of a positive test.
Milton Keynes currently sits under Tier 4 restrictions with people in our area being told to 'stay at home' under the rules except under limited exceptions - for example if you can't work from home, for education, childcare or exercise.
