346 coronavirus cases and 12 more hospital deaths announced in Milton Keynes today

    There have been 346 coronavirus cases and 12 hospital deaths recorded in Milton Keynes today, according to the latest data.

    Cases have dropped slightly compared to yesterday's number of 494, but are still incredibly high.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes has risen once again, going from 893.3 cases per 100,000 people yesterday to 945.2 cases per 100,000 people today.

    Sadly, twelve deaths were recorded today at Milton Keynes University Hospital, meaning that 27 hospital deaths have been announced in the past two days.

    Today has also seen another large increase in covid cases nationally. The number of people testing positive for coronavirus in the UK has increased by 62,322 - and another 1,041 people have died, government figures show.
