140 new factory-built homes planned for Milton Keynes expansion area

    More new homes are planned for the Whitehouse area of Milton Keynes following the purchase of land by housebuilder ilke Homes.

    Housing manufacturer ilke Homes has announced the purchase of a seven-acre site in the Whitehouse area of Milton Keynes.

    Being delivered by L&Q estates, ilke Homes aims to build 140 factory-made homes to form part of the 4,330-home Whitehouse masterplan.

    It is expected that the new development at Whitehouse will create 4,300 homes, new jobs a secondary school and three primary schools. Plans also include a health facility, indoor sports and other leisure facilities, and play areas.

    The modular house builder is now in conversation with organisations to acquire funds for the new homes at Whitehouse.

    A planning application will be sent to Milton Keynes City Council in April with work starting by the end of 2023, subject to approval.
