Police were in West Bletchley today (1/6), hosting a knife amnesty in partnership with Bletchley Parish Council.
A knife amnesty bin allows people who own knives or weapons to voluntarily dispose of them in a safe and legal way.
The aims of the operation, which is taking place across Thames Valley, are to remove dangerous weapons from the streets, reduce knife crime and raise awareness of the dangers and consequences of carrying a knife.
10 knives taken off the streets and handed in today at the West Bletchley Weapon Amnesty event.
2 Public Access Bleed Kits were also distributed to Tesco on Melrose Avenue and The Frank Moran Centre. They have been donated by Jason Fathers through The Daniel Baird Foundation.
