The last Battle of the Bands round was super busy and full to the brim of listeners and supporters, you were lucky to find a table! Here is a recap of the night below in which there was a lot of surprises and good twists!:
The first band that performed was Forbidden Romance, a newly formed band in Milton Keynes. This wasn't evident at all as they gave a very solid and golden performance! Suzanne Fletcher the organiser, had talks with the judges Stuart Mack and Jorge Vasques after and all agreed that Forbidden Romance will be taking Calico Palace's slot in the semi-final. They were ecstatic about the news!
Congratulations to Forbidden Romance! See you at the first Semi-Final alongside Bruises and The Drop Downs.
The second band that performed was Garden, their sound was very soothing with great vocals from the lead singer, they gained a fair amount of the audience votes and due to this, both judges agreed that a wild card should be played, this allows Garden through to the semi-finals! very well deserved, congratulations to Garden!
The last band to play was Jet Lagged Jeff & The Swamp Donkeys, what a performance! they have such a great edgy and awesome sound and most certainly got everyone's feet tapping, everyone loved the sounds of their harmonica!
