Following the roaring success of the inaugural and sell out MK STEM Awards earlier this year, organiser Events Together Ltd is thrilled to announce the return of this prestigious event for its second edition, taking place on 04 March 2025.
The MK STEM Awards aim to celebrate the remarkable achievements of students, educators, individuals and organisations in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics across the Milton Keynes community and surrounding counties.
The first MK STEM Awards, held in February 2024, showcased outstanding talent and innovation, attracting attendees, including industry leaders, educators, and students.
"Last year's event exceeded our expectations, proving that the passion for STEM is alive and thriving in Milton Keynes," said Meena Chander, Founder of the MK STEM Awards. "We are excited to build on this momentum and continue to inspire the unsung heroes of innovators and leaders in STEM."
The 2025 awards will introduce new categories to recognise emerging talent and groundbreaking projects, including:
- STEM Ambassador
- AI Impact.
Nominations are now open inviting businesses, schools, community groups, and individuals to submit their applications across 14 categories. Winners will be selected by a panel of esteemed judges from academia, industry, and local government, including some of the winners from this year.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the event will feature networking opportunities for professionals in the STEM sector. Attendees will have the chance to engage with local businesses and organisations committed to fostering a STEM-friendly environment.
“We believe that by celebrating achievements in STEM, we not only recognise individual excellence but also inspire a culture of innovation that will benefit our community for years to come,” added Chander.
