PUP CLUB OFFICIAL BLOG: November News

Christmas came early to Pup Club this year, and with it a wonderful day packed with fun.

Our festive photo shoot on Saturday was a fantastic way to kickstart Christmas at Pup Club.

On the day itself we were thrilled to make around £200 for Appledown Rescue Centre and this amounted to £400 raised for the month of November.

Julie Shelton, manager at Appledown, sent her thanks to our lovely Pup Club community:

“We are incredibly grateful for this generous donation to our rescue centre.  Particularly at this time of year when there is sadly such a huge demand for rescue services.  Thank you so much Pup Club”.

Dan Cheung, founder of Pup Club, was also delighted with the successful fundraiser “We are very honoured to have been able to raise so much money for such a brilliant and essential rescue service who help so many people and dogs”

It all started in the morning when we heard the clip clop of reindeer hooves on the roof of our Ringcroft venue.

Santa with his jolly elves and reindeer had arrived on time to have their photos taken with each of the dressed up doggos who had queued to see him.

Our indoor venue had temporarily transformed into a Winter Wonderland complete with a magical snowy grotto where the pups gathered for their photographs.

There was also some magic - of the photographic kind - provided by the talented Anna.

Indeed, we owe her huge thanks for taking time to take and edit some superb photos for our clients.

In fact, the support from the Pup Club community was overwhelming, and the dogs were such good girls and boys during the day - it was a good job because Santa Paws, his elves and his reindeer were watching and  waiting to see who was naughty or nice!

There was absolutely no weeing on the Christmas trees, and all the presents remained unopened.

The Christmas spirit was also evident in the range of very fetching costumes on display including snow dogs, doggy elves and quite a few of Santa’s little yelpers who looked pawsome in their little outfits.

Special thanks also go to Cathy (owned by Wilbur, Dotty and Peanut) and Mo (owned by Rocco and Roxy) for contributing treat bags, festive dog toys and human snacks.
