Brasserie Blanc is the home of real French cooking with seasonality and sustainability at the heart of everything they create.
Founded in 1996 by Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc, Brasserie Blanc has been a bastion of classic French cuisine in Milton Keynes since 2007. The brasserie’s menu changes with the seasons to showcase the very best produce sourced from across the U.K. As a three star rated business by The Sustainable Restaurant Association, the highest rating possible, the brasserie works with suppliers who share a similar ethos to source sustainably and ethically. Suppliers include Aubrey Allen, butcher to the royal household, who only supply pasture reared, grass fed beef and Judes ice cream, a B Corp business.
Guests can expect a menu that reflects the best of the season that showcases the skills of the talented chefs in the kitchen such as eight hour slow-cooked shoulder of Highland venison with Grand Veneur sauce or “Autumn Still Life”, a dessert originally created by Raymond for Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and inspired by an autumn walk foraging in the woods. Alongside the à la carte menu, guests can also enjoy the Prix Fixe menu which champions a different ingredient every month. Available between 12pm and 6pm Monday to Friday guests can enjoy two courses for £18.50 and three courses for £23.50 together with a complimentary drink.
The wine list has been carefully curated to complement the menus with a range of wines from across the world and featuring organic and biodynamic wines from smaller producers. Expertly mixed cocktails and drinks also await guests to be enjoyed alongside their meal. The reasons to visit don’t stop there either. Happy Hour is available Sunday to Friday with two for one available on a selection of drinks along with Steak Night. Available Monday to Wednesday from 5pm guests will receive a complimentary bottle of wine when two or more steaks are ordered on their table. Sundays are for roasts and the brasserie serves up theirs with seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese and bottomless roast potatoes, Yorkshires and gravy.
The beautiful brasserie is light and airy with cosy booths for intimate group gatherings and a semi private dining room for celebrations. Whatever the reason for your visit, you can be sure of a very warm welcome fron Ana and the team at Brasserie Blanc.
