Arts1 offers a wide range of performing arts classes for children, teenagers and adults and is more than just a place to learn—it is a space that encourages enjoyment, builds confidence, and ensures safety for everybody.
Starting at the younger end of the scale, and for those children who love to move, Arts1 offers exciting dance classes like ballet, jazz, modern, and Acrobatic Arts. These classes give kids the chance to learn new skills in a fun and safe environment with experienced instructors.
For those passionate about performing, the incredibly popular Musical Theatre classes combine singing, acting, and dancing. And for those interested in behind-the-scenes creativity, our acting classes and workshops in writing, costume design, makeup, and directing allow them to explore their artistic side. For more focused training, 1-to-1 vocal and piano coaching offers expert guidance tailored to individual needs.
Adults aren’t left out either! Arts1 offers a range of fun, engaging classes like ballet, yoga, street dance, tap, and choir with regular performance and social opportunities so you can be part of a fantastic adult student community.
If your child is ready to turn their passion into a career, Arts1 also offers full-time training with a 2-year sixth form courses in Musical Theatre, Acting, or Dance for students aged 16-18. Alongside the sixth form sits a new 3-year Musical Theatre degree course for those over 18, providing professional training with expert tutors.
Previous alumni include Ivano Turco who has recently been the lead role of Jamie New in the UK Tour of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Tia Antoine-Charles, currently in the original West End cast of Mean Girls, and Matteo Johnson, who has recently opened in the West End cast of Moulin Rouge.
