Line up of comedy stars coming to Milton Keynes Theatre

Only the best in live comedy will be served as The Comedy Cow present their 'Prime Cut'.

After a hugely successful debut at Milton Keynes Theatre in April this year, local promoters 'The Comedy Cow' have just announced that they will return in June 2025 with an even bigger lineup of comedy stars.

Bossy Cow Ben Robinson said, 'We've been running comedy nights locally for the last 12 years and have put on shows in coffee shops, bars, theatre and occasionally empty fields!  Over that time we've seen acts who have gone on to achieve fantastic things in the comedy world and our audiences have enjoyed some of the best acts on the UK circuit, here in MK. But, we've always had a dream to stage some huge shows featuring the very best of the best, and our collaboration with Milton Keynes Theatre has allowed us to put together an incredible lineup... we can't wait for the fun to begin.'

Headliner for the night is Bafta Award-winning writer and comedian, Adam Kay.  Having built a name for himself as the man at the centre of the autobiographical BBC comedy drama 'This is Going to Hurt'.  The one-man stage show of the same name played to over 300,000 people as Kay brought a touch of humour to his very real observations of life in the NHS, a delicate operation, by anyone's standards.  But comedy fans will remember Kay before he found fame, and as a firm favourite of the Comedy Cow crowd, it seems only fitting that he returns to headline this bumper show.

Opening the show is Mark Watson, who stole the show on Taskmaster series 5.   One of the most recognisable faces from the comedy world Watson has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Sunday Night at The Palladium and Channel 4's Comedy Gala, as well as frequent guest spots on a whole host of shows, where he has become known for his quick wit, slightly awkward style and loveable demeanour.  Watson has a reputation for performing in unusual locations, including on a ferry, on a train and even a vaccination queue; but in June we're delighted to say that he'll be sticking to the more conventional plan of performing on stage at MK Theatre.

King of observational comedy Seann Walsh will also be making an appearance.  With his 'impressively universal, gag-heavy' style he has won himself an army of fans. Appearances on 'Mock the Week' and 'Stand Up to the Week' cemented his place as one of the very best in the business in writing clever, relatable and hilarious material.  An appearance on 'I'm A Celebrity' in 2022, gave the public a chance to see the man behind the stage persona, and he now plays to sold-out rooms all over the country.

Holding the night together will be another comedy star and 'force of nature', Ninia Benjamin.  Making her name on the hit BBC Sketch Comedy series 3 Non Blondes, Benjamin has enjoyed over 20 years at the top of the comedy game which has led to appearances on numerous shows including Hypothetical and Unforgiveable..  With her brash, no-holds-barred style, Benjamin takes the audience with her on a rollercoaster of laughs and hilarity, but this is a ride you won't want to get off.
