The Salon Awards are the only UK hair industry awards where hair professionals compete at a local level in their field of expertise. Since 2017 they are focused on improving standards, elevating business and rewarding individual achievements. Judged by the industry for the industry.
This year Hair Host were keen to showcase their beautiful new salon in the Hub, Milton Keynes where a talented and experienced team have been delivering high quality results for both women and men in all aspects of hair colouring, cutting and styling since November 2022.
This year they put Milton Keynes firmly on the map, winning the 2024 Salon Awards for Best New or Refurbished Salon in Buckinghamshire.
Rebecca Blade, Salon Director at Hair Host said: “The whole team are delighted that our new Hub salon has been recognised in this year’s awards. We worked hard to create a welcoming and spacious environment where people could come and relax, feel pampered, and leave looking fabulous!
The Hub has proved a great location for us, with ample parking nearby and many customers comment on how airy and modern the salon is.”
Hair Host opened its first salon in Buckingham in 2015 and the Hub salon is just 2 years old. Both salons were designed to also support those customers with mobility issues, being ground floor level with step-free access. Both salons have dedicated extra wide stations for those in a wheelchair and the Hub, Milton Keynes salon also has a disabled toilet.
Members of the team at Hair Host are hand-picked each year to work backstage at London Fashion Week, preparing models hair for the catwalk, testament to their skill and creativity.
Rebecca says: “I was born in Milton Keynes. I grew up in Milton Keynes and we are all proud that we can represent Milton Keynes at this level, and win such a prestigious award!
