The Comedy Cow are kicking off the new year with a fantastic night of live comedy at the Venue MK on the 17th January.
Headliner for the night is the absolutely brilliant Scott Bennett who in recent years has established himself as one of the must-see acts on the UK Circuit. After last year's appearance on Live at The Apollo, this year Scott has secured his status as comedy 'royalty', with an appearance on The Royal Variety Performance.
Opening the show is Javier Jarquin. Born in New Zealand to Latin-American/Chinese parents. He skilfully weaves his unique perspective into every performance and delivers sharply executed insights on life as an immigrant. In addition, Javier’s gag rate is off the scale; a witty quick-hitter with incredible writing and improv skills.
The host for the evening is the hilarious Andrew Bird, who has built a loyal following through his tour support for some of the biggest names in the business. Sharing a stage with Michael Macintyre, Rob Brydon, Rhod Gilbert and Jason Manford, Andrew has earned his stripes as one of the most reliably strong comedians on the circuit.
Up-and-coming starlet Kathryn Mather is appearing in the middle. Having already appeared on Comedy Central Live, Kathryn is quickly establishing herself as a 'wickedly accomplished' act according to Rolling Stone magazine, who has won critical acclaim and 5-star reviews for her Edinburgh debut show.
