On the 23rd October Brioche Pasquier UK held a soup and quiz evening at the YMCA for their employees, to raise money for the charity as part of their SOUPFEST 2024 campaign.
YMCA Milton Keynes support young people who have experienced homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness by providing a safe place to call home alongside practical, emotional and employment support to help them go on to live happy, healthy and independent lives.
Their employees enjoyed a Halloween themed evening and tested their knowledge on a variety of topics as they got competitive by taking part in a "pub" quiz, hosted by Brioche Pasquier Sales manager Matthew Grenter, as well as putting their artistic skills to the test in a pumpkin decorating challenge.
Brioche Pasquier were also joined by local partners, Facilities Management Solutions and the MK Breakers who supported the evening as well as some residents from the YMCA who all joined in on the quiz.
To celebrate all things soup, people had the chance to try Brioche Pasquier’s contribution to this year’s SoupFest recipe book, Ratatouille Soup or a Halloween favourite Pumpkin Soup, followed by some spooky cheesecakes from Cheeky Cheesecakes and Halloween cupcakes from Sweets and Cakes by Aga, which all went down a treat!
Finally, the evening concluded with a raffle which included some incredible prizes very kindly donated from local Milton Keynes businesses, including:

- Coffee and cake for two, YMCA
- VIP Tickets to an MK Breakers Game
- Climb Quest voucher

- Meal for 2 at Crispy Seoul
- Gas safety check from Lime Heating
- Tickets to the MKFM 90s and 00s with Peter Andre
- 6 x Platinum lounge tickets for an MK Dons Match
The evening managed to raise £720 for the YMCA.
