With Raymond Blanc the president of the Sustainable Restaurant Association, the MK restaurant has achieved the highest 3 star accreditation from the Food Made Good Association. This was achieved through supporting British farmers and fishermen, sustainable sourcing of products, celebrating the provenance of ingredients and reducing food waste.
With diners caring more than ever about sustainability, the Food Made Good Standard is a clear signal to staff, suppliers and customers that restaurants with the award are progressive and committed to doing the right thing for people and the planet. “All dishes at Brasserie Blanc are prepared fresh on the premises, with our new 8 hour slow cooked Highland Venison Shoulder dish that is the star of our new Autumn a La Carte menu, taking 3 days to prepare. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and work with the best UK suppliers. We use multi award winning butchers Aubrey Allen - suppliers to the Royal Household - for our free range, grass fed beef and we only serve seasonal fish sourced from around the British isles.’ GM Ana Semuntenko informs us. A’ La Carte menus change regularly to showcase the best seasonal produce and September 26th saw the launch of the stunning new Autumn A’La Carte menu that is showcasing dishes straight from Raymond Blanc’s Michelin Star restaurant La Manoir, including the Autumn Still Life dessert that is a Raymond Blanc classic.
For daytime diners there is a fantastic value Prix Fixe lunch and pre theatre menu that changes monthly, served from 12pm - 6pm daily. (£18.50 for 2 courses/£23.50 for 3 and includes a complimentary drink - for Sober October it is Lucky Saint 0.5% ABV. Monday to Friday between 5pm - 7pm is 2-4-1 Happy Hour and Wednesday is Steak Night - buy 2 and enjoy a complimentary bottle of house wine.
