The A5 Southbound between Stony Stratford and Stacey Bushes is currently closed this morning (11/2) due to an accident.
Thames Valley Police is currently at the scene dealing with a road traffic collision which reportedly involved three vehicles.
Highways England said in a Tweet: "A5 Southbound between Old Stratford and Stacey Bushes is currently closed due to a road traffic collision. Thames Valley Police on scene dealing. Please plan ahead for your journeys this morning."
Residents contacted MKFM just after 8:30am stating that there were delays of up to 40 minutes, but the road has since closed.
There are diversions in place. The road is expected to reopen after 10:30am but this is subject to change.
