Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) informs residents of the upcoming road, traffic, and bus updates, including roadworks taking place from June 17 to June 21.
From June 17, 2024, MKCC will be carrying out roadworks on some sections in Milton Keynes. To ensure a safe and effective working environment for staff, some roads will be temporarily closed, and diversions may be necessary.
On June 17, there will be road repairs, including potholes, in the following areas;
Bletchley - Lomond Drive and Simpson Road
H5 Portway between V4 Watling Street and A5
H5 Portway between V9 Overgate and V10 Brickhill Street
Lavendon - Olney Road
On June 18 roadworks will commence in the areas below:
Bletchley - Whaddon Way and Westminster Drive
Bradville - Abbey Way, Crispin Road and Mathiesen Road
Bradwell Common - Bradwell Common Boulevard
Conniburrow - Ramsons Avenue and Teasel Avenue
Rooksley - Patriot Drive
V10 Brickhill Street between Tilbrook Roundabout and Station Road
Woburn Sands - Chapel Street
Roadworks will continue 19 June in the following areas:
Central Milton Keynes - Marlborough Gate
Heelands - Gibsons Green
Knowlhill - Davy Avenue
New Bradwell - Newport Road and Queen Anne Street
Oldbrook - Oldbrook Boulevard, Kirkstall Place and Struckwick Drive
Old Wolverton - Old Wolverton Road
V11 Tongwell Street between H4 Dansteed Way and H5 Portway
June 20 roadworks will take place at Wolverton- Buckingham Street and Woodland View.
21 June roads will be closed for work in:
Bletchley - Church Green Road, St Andrews Road, St Clements Drive and St Johns Road
Downs Barn - Loriner Road
Hanslope - Forest Road
Haversham - Wolverton Road
Shenley Brook End - Church End Road and Garthwaite Crescent
Grass cutting will also take place the week commenting June 17 across Milton Keynes. The following areas will be worked on:
18-19 June:
V10 Brickhill Street between H4 Dansteed Way and H5 Portway
V10 Brickhill Street between H5 Portway and H6 Childs Way
V10 Brickhill Street between H6 Childs Way and H7 Chaffron Way
19-20 June:

V10 Brickhill Street between Caldecotte Lake Drive and H10 Bletcham Way
V11 Tongwell Street between H4 Dansteed Way and H5 Portway
20-21 June:
