“The M1 is now open northbound between J14 - J15 after yesterdays collision resulted in the carriageway requiring resurfacing. Traffic is flowing well.”
9:57PM National Highways update -
“The M1 north is closed between J14 and J15 near Milton Keynes following an earlier collision which resulted in a vehicle fire.
“Due to the damage caused the carriageway will need to be resurfaced overnight. Please allow extra time for your journey or seek an alternative route.”

7:30PM National Highways update-
“The #M1 northbound has now been reopened between J14 and J15 near #MiltonKeynes. Lanes 1,2 and 3 of (4) remain closed for vehicle recovery and resurfacing works following the fire. Delays of less than 10 minutes on the approach at this time.”
5:20PM National Highways say:
“Update Southbound...Lanes 1 , 2 and 3 of (4) are now open past the scene. Lane 4 is remaining closed to assist with scene management. Delays of up to 90 minutes and 7 miles of queuing traffic back towards J15 for #Northampton. Please allow extra time for your journey this evening”
5:00PM The M1 remains closed northbound between J14 and J15 following a serious collision.
Traffic Officers and emergency services are working to clear the traffic caught between J14 and the scene.
3 of (4) lanes remain closed southbound with delays of up to 90 minutes on the approach.
4:00PM Queuing traffic back to J11.
3:55PM All emergency services and Traffic Officers are working at the scene with the response being led by Thames Valley Police.
3:40PM 3 of (4) lanes are also closed southbound on the approach to assist the emergency services at the scene.
3:30PM National Highways say all emergency services are currently on their way to the scene.
