National Rail have announced that their will be disruption to rail services through Milton Keynes next month as essential works continue.
Essential journeys to / from London Euston will be affected on the following dates:
• Monday 25 May – Wednesday 3 June 2020 (Monday – Friday only) changes to services 8pm – 8am
• Thursday 4 June 2020 do not travel after 9pm and changes to services before 8am Friday 5 June
• Monday 15 – Friday 19 June 2020 (Monday – Friday only) changes to services 8pm – 8am
With fewer passengers travelling at this time, Network Rail is taking advantage of this quieter period to carry out overnight work on the overhead power lines on the approach to London Euston station.
This critical maintenance work will ensure the overhead wires are more resilient in hot weather and more reliable for passengers in future.
Members of the public are reminded to avoid non-essential travel by public transport during the Covid-19 pandemic.
