Environmental storyteller and Newton Longville native Lisa Schneidau tells stories of the seas in 'Mermaids, Monsters and Other Worlds.'

Environmental storyteller and Newton Longville native Lisa Schneidau returns to Tales Tattled & Told with stories of the seas in her programme titled 'Mermaids, Monsters and Other Worlds.' Lisa will tell old tales of pirates and monsters, sailor heroes and ghost ships, mermaids and shapeshifters.
And the amazing Chris Shrimpton is bringing his harmonica, accompanied on guitar by Dave Grindley. They'll be backed up by Bletchley’s most interesting band, the Sofa Ensemble! with Sarah Watts on the Melodica and Rake Coles on Sousaphone
Chris studied Chromatic Harmonica with James Hughes, Harmonica Professor at the Royal College of Music. He was twice chromatic harmonica Player of the Year at the UKs annual harmonica festival, and the first harmonica player to be awarded the LTCL recital diploma by Trinity College London. He has performed on a number of occasions and has recorded with Chamber Ensemble of London featuring on their CD “British Serenade”
Stephen Eames hosts another joyous evening of storytelling and acoustic music at the historic Rectory Cottages at 49 Church Green Rd, Bletchley, MK3 6BJ.

This event is intended ages 16 and older.
Doors open at 7 pm for a 7:30 pm start. Tickets are £6 online through WeGotTickets.com and £8 at the door.
Parking is free on Church Green Road and nearby. The Cottages are just a short walk from Bletchley’s railway station.
We regret that the 500-year-old building is not yet accessible for wheelchairs.
