About Paula Harrison
Paula Harrison is the bestselling author of series such as The Rescue Princesses and The Secret Rescuers and is now the author of the best-selling series, Kitty, for Oxford University Press.
Paula was born in Bletchley (home of the wartime code-breakers) and grew up in Bedfordshire. She always said she wanted to be a writer, but she didn't actually get round to it for quite a long time. She trained to be a primary school teacher and spent many years teaching. Those years taught Paula what children like in stories, as she loved reading to her class. She moved into writing because reading to an audience of children is just amazing.
