The Parks Trust put on their first Country Fayre on the events plateau in Campbell Park on Saturday 8th September 2012.
There was plenty to see including lizards, snakes, a skunk, chickens and sheep in the petting zoo plus a giant logging machine and sub aquatic 'tank' which is used to clear weeds from the bottom of the lakes in Milton Keynes.
There was the chance to find out more about The Parks Trust landscape team and contractors, their landscape machinery and tractors were on display and the experts were on hand to talk about their important parkland work.
Throughout the day there was also a series of interesting talks in the central marquee:
1.15 pm – Introduction to the Country Fayre from The Parks Trust
2 pm – Basket Weaving
3 pm – Beekeeping
4 pm – Mushrooms of Milton Keynes
MKFM were there too, with our bouncy megaslide and mascot, Samantha The Panther.
