The Parks Trust conducting investigations into criminal damage to trees in Milton Keynes

    Signs have been spotted around Willen Lake following incidents of criminal damage on trees.

    The Parks Trust is an independent charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes.

    Signs have been spotted around one of Milton Keynes' most popular lakes, following incidents of criminal damage.

    The sign's read: "The Parks Trust are aware of the criminal damage to several of our newly planted trees.

    "We are conducting our own investigations and have reported it through the police.

    The charity is asking that any members of the public that have witnessed any criminal damage, to report it.

    "We are asking if any members of the public witness any criminal damage to our trees possibly involving dogs. Could you please report it through the police and The Parks Trust with as much information as possible, times, dates, descriptions etc. Please report to the police on 101 with the reference number 20220705 - 0326.

    "Our community rangers and enforcement officers will be carrying extra patrols in the areas."
