Teams from as young as four years old will put on their running shoes and become superheroes for the day to take part in the MK Marathon Fun Run to support St Mark's Meals Charity.
A Little Big Kid, a local children's healthy snack company has gathered a team of little and big kids to put on their superhero costumes and take on the challenge of the MK Marathon Fun Run, all in support of St Mark's Meals charity.
Fundraising events raise vital funds to support the mission of providing families with meal kits, so no child goes to bed hungry within our local community. Rachel Fielding who manages St Mark's Meals in Milton Keynes says.
"We are so grateful to all the support Little Big Kid gives us with not only fundraising but creating awareness of the growing need of food poverty in Milton Keynes. We'll be cheering on these little kids as they run in their superhero outfits raising funds for other kids. Go team Little Big Kid"

NOTE: Currently in Milton Keynes 30% (statistics from the Community Foundation: Vital Signs report 2024) of children are living in poverty and for many families getting a meal on the table at the end of the day can be a real struggle. By working with schools and children centres St Mark's Meals are able to provide families with all the ingredients to make a filling, tasty meal which relieves anxiety and fills tummies.
