Pro-Palestine march taking place at Milton Keynes train station later today

At 2:00pm later today (16/05), a peaceful pro-Palestine march will be taking place at Milton Keynes Central station.

The peaceful protest will be hosted in partnership with the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign UK (PSC) and will be free to enter, like many other similar events taking place across the country this weekend.

The march is being held in order to show solidarity with the Palensitain people after the recent violent attacks by the state of Israel.

Around 139 people have been killed in Gaza and a further 9 in Israel since the fighting erupted on Monday.

Organisers are in talks with local police and authorities to ensure that the event remains safe during the pandemic.

Locals are advised to stick closely to the current government guidelines by wearing a mask, keeping their distance and staying within smaller groups (six people or less).

Almost 100 people have shown interest in attending the event.
