There are currently delays of up to 30 minutes on the M1 Northbound between MK and Northampton.
UPDATE 3:05PM: All lanes are now open.
UPDATE 2:06PM: Thames Valley's Roads Policing Team say that the southbound carriageway is also slow moving due to "nosey drivers".
UPDATE 1:52PM: 3 lanes of 4 are currently closed on the M1 northbound between J14 Milton Keynes and J15 Northampton due to a car fire.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue are currently in attendance.
National Highways say there is a 30 minute delay on approach with 3.5 miles of congestion.
MKFM understands smoke can be seen from Newport Pagnell.
