At roughly 1:30pm earlier today (11/07), a number of local firefighters were called to the site of the A5 southbound after receiving reports of a car fire.
A small fire engine was deployed to the scene and a bucket of water was used to combat the flames.
It is unknown how much traffic in the area will be affected by this incident but it is likely that heavier congestion levels than usual are to be expected.
No one is reported to be injured at this time.
