Emergency services called to car fire in Milton Keynes

    MKFM understands Bucks Fire and Rescue are currently on the scene of a car fire in Milton Keynes.

    Thames Valley Fire Control Service received multiple calls to a car fire on Gloucester Road, Wolverton yesterday at around 3:10 pm.

    One appliance and crew from Newport Pagnell attended.

    The car was well alight on arrival.

    The firefighters used one hose reel jet, one set of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to put out the fire.

    The car was 100 per cent destroyed by the fire.

    UPDATE - The fire has been put out.

    A cordon has been put in place on Gloucester Road, Wolverton, due to a car fire. 

    Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue are currently on the scene.
