JLS(1)

JLS consists of Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan “JB” Gill and Oritsé Williams. They are signed to Syco under Sony BMG.  JLS stands for "Jack The Lad Swing" which is how the guys describe their sounds.

JLS are a pop group that first appeared to the public late in 2008 during their appearance on ‘The X Factor’. The foursome (from London & Peterborough, England), came 2nd in the hit TV show and have since released their first single ‘Beat Again’ which has gained regular radio airplay, and went to number one on the iTunes downloads chart within 12 hours of release.

JLS’s first single “Beat Again” debuted at number one as of 19th July 2009, making it their first number one single. Their second single “Everybody In Love”, released on the 1st November, also topped the UK Singles Chart on 8th November 2009.

Their self-titled debut album was released on the 9th November and stormed in the UK Album Charts at number one.
